A bioelectrical impedance analyzer is a simple and proven technology in body composition measurements. Due to the recent demand for portable health care devices that can be linked with variable mobile devices, there are many bioimpedance-related products that have been developed. Since the body composition is one of the standard indicators for a person's health and performance, the continuous and long-term monitoring of the body composition is very beneficial to live a quality life and to save health care costs. In this study, four bioimpedance analyzers were used, and the results regarding the measurement accuracy were discussed. An eight-point bioimpedance analyzer was selected as a reference device, and three portable bioimpedance analyzers were compared for body fat percentage (BFP).
