The kinematics of the point contact conjugation between two conjugate surfaces with one degree of freedom has long been an interesting problem, but not yet thoroughly solved. Nowadays, this problem is not only a problem with theoretical interest, but also a practical problem confronted in modern mechanical design. In this paper, on the ground of the author’s Theory Of Conjugate Surfaces [1, 2, 3,], the theoretical basis of the general solution of this problem is concisely presented, and an outline of the computation procedure for the solution is narrated.
