Piping Flexibility Analysis by Model Test

During the past 10 years, model-test flexibility analyses of piping systems have been made, under the author’s direction, for nearly a hundred oil, power, and chemical companies, and for two navies. Herein are described briefly the scope of the work, the apparatus and methods employed, and a few observations on design.
