Rates of Fouling and Cleaning of Unfired Heat-Exchanger Equipment

This paper presents heat-exchanger performance data and describes exchanger cleaning procedures during the period 1943–1947 at the Port Arthur Works of The Texas Company. The performance data are presented in the form of tables and graphs which show the rates of over-all heat-transfer and exchanger fouling, and the changes in these rates after bundle cleansing.
