In this chapter, we examine and comment on the relevant features of experiments used to obtain heat-transfer and pressure-drop data in water and carbon dioxide based on experience at the IPPE (Kirillov et al. 2005), KPI (Pis'mennyy et al. 2005) and CRL (Pioro and Khartabil 2005; Pioro and Duffey 2003b).
