The works of Tiberiu Olah, deeply rooted in the archaic layer of Romanian folklore, reveals rhythmic, melodic, timbral and expressive structures built on a predetermining mathematical thinking. The cycle of symphonic poems dedicated to the sculptor Constantin Brancuşi (Endless column, Table of silence) as well as the works Constellation of man and Events 1907 use articulate mathematical structures by the variety of acoustic parameters, both at a micro and at a macro-structural level.
