The paper presents a linear model of time-cost optimisation which can aid in the process of the selection of the order of the construction of structures, as well as during the development of a timetable of a multiple-building construction project by a general contractor. The proposed model takes into account indirect costs, direct costs, contractual penalties associated with discontinuous work by work brigades, contractual penalties associated with failing to meet directive deadlines, as well as rewards for completing a structure ahead of a directive dead-line. In order to analyse various orders, the authors used the bruteforce method. The operation of the model has been presented on a calculations example. A lowering of the total costs of the carrying out of a multiple-building construction project equal to a level of 2-5% in comparison to a random solution has been obtained. The model can be useful during the negotiation of directive deadlines or the size of the contractual penalties for delays and rewards for completing a project ahead of schedule.
