More and more satellites need deployable satellite platforms for on-orbit maintenance and equipment upgrades. This paper provides a kind of deployable truss-type satellite platform. Driving by a motor and two sets of fold-unfold mechanisms, four folding plates of the satellite platform can be folded or unfolded. By using D-H method and ADAMS, the kinematic model of fold-unfold mechanism is established. Some kinematic parameters such as angular displacement, angular velocity and angular acceleration are calculated to verify the smoothness of deployment process.
