In this paper, we propose a scheme of an interactive music game installation based on an open-source electronics platform called Arduino. The software called Vixen is implemented to communicate with the Arduino board, which can analyze the music you choose and make the LED strip shine follow the beat. Six drums are prepared for players to interact with the game, with the objective to make the correct beat at the correct time in relation to the music. Players receive both visual and audio feedback to help them make correct beat. The beat is detected by piezoelectric ceramic vibration sensor and the score is shown on the LCD screen. Some micro-pumps will spray water follow the rhythm as well to increase the visual effect of the game. We also discuss the evaluation of players using this installation.
