Chicken eggs have been studied extensively for their nutrients, physical and thermal properties. A large chicken egg is composed of a thin outside shell with a 0.03 cm mean thickness which is made out of calcium carbonate crystals and it is semipermeable. The middle layer is the egg white with a 1.22 cm mean thickness for a large egg that protects egg’s yoke in the middle and the egg white is composed of water, protein, and ropes that hold the egg’s yoke in the middle. A large egg’s yoke in the middle with a 1.1 cm mean thickness contains water, proteins, vitamins and minerals. The egg shell has a high thermal conductivity of about 225 W/(m-K).
