Many industrial components operate in two-phase flow. For example, two-phase cross flow exists in many shell-and-tube heat exchangers, such as condensers, evaporators, reboilers, and nuclear steam generators. In fact, more than half of process heat exchangers operate in two-phase flow according to industry experts.
