We receive naturally occurring background electromagnetic radiation continuously. Naturally occurring radioactive materials are found in air, water and soil. We are exposed to cosmic and terrestrial radiation especially in high altitudes. Electromagnetic radiation sources are also human made such as nuclear power generation, medical uses for treatment and for diagnosis. In this chapter, I will review electromagnetic radiation exposures resulting from medical diagnosis.
