This chapter presents a study on the robustness of the independent component analysis (ICA) method when estimating the road surface of a quarter vehicle. To do this, the Monte Carlo (MC) stochastic technique was used, along with the inevitable parameters of uncertainty: the mass of the vehicle, the rigidity of the spring and the shock absorption. The effect of the noise generated by wind is also considered. The convergence of the intelligent ICA method was evaluated in a comparison with real surface profiles as defined by the ISO norm with the surface profiles estimated in the context of uncertainty. The results obtained demonstrate the robustness of ICA in estimating different road surfaces.
