Elastic properties of dynamic systems of machines and robots, i.e., stiffness/compliance of the elements, connecting links, and supports, result in displacements of the system points and deformations of supports and elastic elements under external and internal loading. In turn, these displacements and deformations are manifested in deviations of actual positions and trajectories of system elements from the designed positions and motions.
