Youden squares are a type of layout used in the design of experiments. A Youden square is a fraction of a Latin square, or an incomplete Latin square. The objective of using Youden squares in this section is to efficiently utilize an L18 orthogonal array in order to obtain more information from the same number of runs of the array.
