The concern for quality service for engineering consultancy has risen to unprecedented levels. In engineering consultancy, price/fees is forgotten very quickly but quality is never forgotten. In engineering consultancy, if one thinks good design and engineering is expensive, he should first look at the cost of poor design and engineering. Evaluating the cost of poor service quality is important as it helps in recognizing the value of maintaining quality. Poor quality impacts overall cost, as cost of poor quality has tangible and non tangible ramifications and hence substantial.
