Engineering consultancy is basically idea imparting services. As the name suggests, it implies rendering intellect services as an expert to clients in identifying and investigating projects, imparting concepts and value added advises, recommending appropriate course of action and rendering assistance thereof to implement these recommendations. It is all about creativity, imagination and dedicated work. An engineering consultant plays an advisory role as owner’s design engineer during project formulation phase and participatory role as owner’s site engineer during project implementation. The scope of services of an engineering consultant may include the entire gamut of engineering activities relating to setting up of projects in green as well as brown fields. An engineering consultant is associated with the project from concept to commissioning right from project conceptualization and formulation stage to project execution and implementation stage and even during post implementation.
