The present study explores quantitative analysis of relation between articulator parameter and the 2D video signal of the facial motion mainly upper part of face that occurs simultaneously in different emotions.

A comprehensive database has been prepared for the analysis. 25 Hindi speaking females of age range 20 to 25 years have been trained for the expression of six emotions along with neutral emotion. Formants and facial parameters such as displacement of outer eyebrow, inner eyebrow, center eyebrow and eye opening and centre distance of two eyebrows are extracted from short frames of utterance of Hindi vowel V in respective Audio and Video signal. Finally number of quantitative correlations has been developed between articulator parameters and facial feature parameters.
