Clothing production industry is a traditional industry. However, with the development of science and technology and coming of digital era, the clothing production industry has also entered the age of modern digitalized and mechanized mass industrial production. In order to adapt to the need of modern clothing production, we should cultivate clothing pattern makers to meet the ever-changing reality, introduce advanced computer-aid-design technology and correlative software into teaching process, and ensure students can study the course “clothing pattern and workmanship” well to better serve the market and clothing enterprises.
