With the popularity of multimedia equipment and technology, most curriculums in our school have applied multimedia to teaching methods, and we begin to put this into the teaching in Basic Dance Composition Theory. This paper intends to analyze the advantages of the application of multimedia-aided teaching from the perspectives of the nature and characteristics of this course. It also takes the Chapter Dance Composition as an example to illustrate the process and procedure of designing courseware, which has achieved satisfactory effect in teaching practice.
