Based on AODV, a new routing algorithm NTAODV, which concerns node topology change, is proposed in this paper. NTAODV sets up a more reliable and vigorous route link by bringing in inhibitor and designing new route criteria and weight function to inhibit the node whose topology changes frequently and takes the first priority to choose the nodes with more stable topology. The NS-2.33 simulation indicates that the modified NTAODV can strikingly improve such two network performance indexes as packet delivery ratio and average end-to-end delay, especially in the network scenario where node topology changes frequently.
