In this paper, a novel algorithm using joint polarization information and angle information for fast multi-target localization is proposed. The proposed algorithm exploits propagator method (PM) and polarization sensitive array processing technology to estimate the direction of departure (DOD), the direction of arrival (DOA) and polarization parameters. PM avoids the singular value decomposition (SVD) of the covariance matrix of the received signals, so the computational complexity is reduced. Also, the closely spaced targets can be well distinguished by polarization diversity. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can work well and achieve high-resolution identification and fast localization of multiple targets.
