In recent years, improving student's employment ability has become urgent problem to solve in higher vocational education. Therefore, higher vocational colleges have been suggested by many scholars that they should build dual-certificate teachers. By using the structural equation modeling method, analysis of the data of higher vocational students collected by questionnaires shows that: first, dual-certificate teachers in the higher vocational colleges can promote the students' employment ability; second, the role of dual-certificate teachers to the student's employment ability is indirect and through ascension of students perceived quality and extracurricular help of employment that help further strengthen students' employment ability; third, the reasonable appraisal system for dual-certificate teachers and multi-level incentive system is fully exert dual-certificate teachers to play important role in enhancing students' employment ability.
