In this paper, the binding energy and electronic eigenstates of a single electron confined in a concentric double quantum ring with an on-center donor and acceptor impurities in the presence of perpendicular magnetic field are calculated using the exact diagonalization method. The effects of centrifugal, confinement and diamagnetic potentials on the binding energy are investigated. It is found that the binding energy decreases by increasing the centrifugal or confinement potential. In contrast, the binding energy increases by increasing the magnetic field. We investigate the effects of on-center impurity on the energy spectrum and ground-state angular momentum transitions and show that the donor impurity increases the period of Aharonov-Bohm oscillation while the acceptor acts inversely.
