The multi-facet drill shows good performance in the processing. However, the grinding has been the main problem that restricts its application. In this paper, the mathematical model of the rear face has been analyzed and mechanical grinding theory researched. The mechanical grinding of the drill bit is achieved by utilizing five-axis CNC tool grinder. The effect of the front angle of inner edge and arc edge is given through this method of drill grinding experiments.
