According to the check methods and requirements for amount of over-lap, an indicator of anti-creep performance, the wearing coupler influence to anti-creep reliability are researched by the virtual assembly technology and design of experiment (DOE). Four controllable factors and two noise factors affect the amount of over-lap, which are analyzed by adopting the orthogonal experiment in details. Under the traction condition, coupler components are assembled in virtual environment for total 36 sets of orthogonal experiment plan, respectively. The further analysis for experiment results focus on the amount of over-lap response, signal to noise ratio (SNR) and the main effect. The outcomes demonstrate that main influence factors are the wearing knucklepin, long diameter of lug-hole and knuckle-pin-hole in weight rank, respectively. The main effect of the trend curve shows the amount of over-lap decreases with the exacerbating of wearing knuckle-pin-hole, long diameter of lug-hole and knuckle-pin. The conclusions above provide the basis for the development of couplers overhaul regulations.
