Taking the Feature Modeling in Virtual Design as core, and the SolidWorks as 3-D design platform, new Multi-functional automatic planting machine casing's virtual design has been realized. Starting from the shortcomings of planting trees at home and abroad, According to the situation where traditional machine can only achieve semi-automatization, we put forward the idea of new automatic planting machine to make the efficiency of tree planting greatly improved. Through the virtual design and efficient virtual equipment based on the feature modeling, the virtual simulation of the multi-functional automatic planting machine can be realized. The implementation of this project solves the problem about scale, automation and efficiency in planting machine to some degree.
