Nearly monodispersed single-crystalline Rhodium nanocubes and aggregates of rhodium nanoparticles have been successfully prepared in alcohol solution mainly by using different surfactants concentrations and additives. The morphology of obtained rhodium nanoparticles were tuned by the addition of foreign halide ions (I, Br). This paper describes the effect the solvent used during the synthesis of rhodium nanoparticles employing PVP, PVP/SDS as surfactants system. With the addition of iodide and bromide ions, the major product formed was notably nanocubes.
