A major part of control theory is concentrated with the design of process loop controllers for plant, which should fit all objectives of the control problem. The nonlinear and complex plant dynamic changes rapidly if the operating parameters of plant are changed. The single control algorithm may not give consistent performance for different operating regime. The new controller based on competitive multi-agent architecture is more suitable for this type of system. In this paper, the new competitive multi-agent controller is designed and tested on nonlinear benchmark problem, twin rotor helicopter.
