In recent years, ontology technology is widely used in a variety of areas in the society, including the blasting industry. Applying ontology technology to the blasting industry will help a lot in the development of information technology in the blasting industry. This paper will discuss how to extract the domain ontology of blasting industry from relational database and how to combine ontology extracted from different information sources semi-automatically.
