For the problem of determination of maintainability quantitative requirements of materiel in demonstration phase, a quantitative model of maintainability is built by taking maintenance time as parameters. By operational requirements analysis, overall maintainability requirement of materiel is determined. By constraint analysis, models of maintenance time of maintenance levels are built as constraint conditions of overall maintainability requirement. Whole description of maintainability quantitative requirements is formed by integrating both. The model provides the basis for further determination of maintenance time and tradeoff between design concept and maintenance concept.
