In order to survive and develop in a competitive market, emporium needs an effective customer segmentation tool for marketing strategy. This paper proposes a GA-ANN model for emporium customer segmentation, and analysis shows that it is more effective than traditional BP model. The proposed model is employed to segment the emporium customers into four classes and corresponding suggestions are given.
