Robots are widely used in many applications. They are in industrial plans for doing their special jobs, for example, routing and displacement things in their locations. These robots require small cameras for prevent to encounter things and finding the path. Some of them use their camera to capture the environment changes with low details. In this paper, a new image compression algorithm is presented that uses the combination of wavelet transform and block truncation coding and have suitable efficiency and very low cost. This approach can be used for reduce the captured images.
