In order to improve the performance of flight control system, a new flight control system design, based on PIC32 and real-time operating system uC/OS-II, oris proposed for a novel lighter than air unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This paper introduces the hardware structure and the interface and then analyzes the functions of different modules and the software flow. This design strategy reduces the system size, improves system reliability and simplifies the design complexity.
