The determination of material parameters, especially the elastic modulus of the dam body is important for dam safety evaluation. The inversion method of the hybrid model for the elastic modulus of gravity dam is improved though eliminating the measuring point displacement caused by the dam foundation deformation, based on multipoint displacement monitoring data. The example shows that the improved inversion method is feasible to determine the elastic modulus of the dam body.

Deformation is an important physical quantity to reflect hydraulic structure, and deformation monitoring is available, and it is the most important monitor at home and abroad. As the special structure of hollow dam, the deformation safety monitoring statistical model should also consider the effect of hollow except considering pressure, temperature load and aging factors as the statistical model of measuring deformation point of conventional concrete dam. In this paper, the effect of hollow factor to dam deformation is researched on the characteristics of hollow dam, on the basis, the principle to build model of safety monitoring statistical model for the hollow dam is researched.
