The application of Hopfield neural network in the optimum routing problem, where the goal is minimize the average delays in the communication have been addressed. In order to improve neural network performance, the use of noisy Hopfield neural network is presented in this paper. The proposed approach considers not only the link capacity of communication network but also the node capacity. The energy function is also optimized and the number of parameters are reduced which makes its complexity less. Simulation results show that this approach has better performance than other algorithms employ Hopfield neural network.
