Augmented Reality can be applied on the creation of the awareness for the protection for the endangered species replacing the current multimedia technology as Augmented Reality is interesting and appealing. APRENSAR was developed and deployed on the web with Flash plugin so that the system is available to the users worldwide. The system overlaying the 3D animation on the real world with haptic interaction, mouse interaction and marker interaction making it interesting and appealing for the users so as they gain the knowledge of endangered species.
