WIA-PA is an industrial process automation wireless network used for monitoring industrial process and control network, which is a self-owned intellectual property with high reliability and ultra-low power consumption. WIA-PA network provides a self-organizing, self-cured and intelligence mesh routing mechanism, which can maintain high reliability and strong stability aiming at the dynamic change of application conditions and environment. Routing technology is the key technology to WIA-PA network, and also is one of the most important factors which affect the overall performance of the network. This paper based on research on ad hoc routing protocols , emphasizes on improvement of AODV protocol and presents an optimized AODV .The experimental results indicate the rise of route success rate .what's more ,compare with AODV algorithm, optimized algorithm has better performance in energy-saving control.
