The high reliability requirements for embedded system for spaceborne applications, drive fault-tolerant technology to be more important. In this paper, we propose a software fault-tolerance solution at OS(Operation System) level. Our method includes the framework of checkpoint mechanism and checkpoint algorithm. What is more, we also do the mathematical modeling and quantitative analysis of the checkpoint interval.
