A hydrogen embrittlement evaluation test was conducted with 1180MPa grade ferrite-martensite type dual phase steel (1180DP) for automotive use by the Conventional Strain Rate Test (CSRT) method. The critical condition of hydrogen embrittlement was compared with those conditions obtained by U-bending and drawn cup methods. In the CSRT test, a notched sample was used and tensile speed was set at 1mm/min. Critical conditions were plotted of the strain and diffusible hydrogen content under stress of 900MPa.
