Risk response control is the process of keeping track of the identified risks, monitoring residual risks and identifying new risks, ensuring the execution of risk plans, and evaluating the plans’ effectiveness in reducing risk. It is the process by which risks are kept in the forefront of management discussions and, therefore, reviewed on a periodic basis. The project organization must maintain a readiness to respond to risk that includes ways to minimize threats and maximize opportunities. Integrated risk management requires that we identify the ability and capacity to treat risks.
