It is practically difficult to provide health care to people at remote location. However, m-health solutions are now coming up which helps a patient transfer his record using wired/wireless network to get specialized medical advice. This transfer of personal medical records must not be accessible to unauthorized users. In this paper, a chaos based encryption of physiological signal (EEG) is proposed using a multi-level non-uniform quantizer. The encryption performance of the proposed scheme is compared with the existing technique which uses 1-bit quantizer. It is found that the use of multi-level non-uniform quantizer not only increases the number of bits generated per iteration but it also improves the randomness property of the sequence
