Based on the queuing theory, MATLAB and LQR optimal control method, take the online ticketing system as the research object. Firstly describe the ticketing system’s time delay problem on queuing theory, at the same time get the customer’s waiting time between 8.00-9.00 and 9.00-10.00 on the reality of the situation. Secondly transform the LQR optimal control problem of the ticket system into the strict convex quadratic programming problem with the equality of linear constraints. Thus transform a time-delay problem into a problem without time delay and transform a dynamic system with discrete time optimal control problem into a static mathematical model. Thirdly get the same results through MATLAB simulation on the application of Lagrange function method and elementary row transformation method. Thus prove the feasibility and correctness of the LQR optimal control problem. Lastly take customer number N=20 as an example and compare the results. We get the shorter delay time. That is to say, the LQR optimal control problem is effective.
