The aim of this paper is to show that the equivalent capacitance between the origin and any other lattice site (l,m) in an infinite square network consisting of identical capacitors each of capacitance C can be calculated using the so-called recurrence formulae. These recurrence formulae are based on Go(0,0) - the Lattice Green’s Function (i.e. LGF) at the origin- and Go(l,m) - the LGF at any site (l,m) of an infinite square network.
