With the high demand of real-time multimedia applications in communication networks, multicast routing algorithms based on Quality-of-Service (QoS) constraints have become a very important research issue in communication networks. In this paper, an improved Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) based algorithm for QoS multicast routing with bandwidth and delay constraints is proposed. The simulation results show that this algorithm has high speed of convergence, excellent cost performance and high success ratio.
