‘Green Building’ is energy efficient and better for the environment. It should also improve the quality of our life. The article mainly discusses the relationship between the building and the environment, how to get natural daylight into the building and make energy savings, how to use modern techniques to reduce the impact on the environment and how to design interior space healthily and environmentally. The whole study analyses the design conception and the basic connotation of Green Building and takes the New Suzhou Museum, designed by I. M. Pei, as an example.
