Explosion-proof hydraulic lifting winch is widely applied in underground coal mine, but it is difficult to analyze and judge the fault due to the complexity of the hydraulic system, badly affecting the maintenance efficiency. Based on the real-time data collected by the explosion-proof hydraulic lifting winch’s detection system, this paper researched the fault diagnosis method of the winch’s hydraulic system using expert system. The implementation method of the expert system is adapted to the hydraulic system’s structure characteristics; its structure is reasonable, and knowledge library and reasoning mechanism are easy to implement.
