In order to meet the requirement of Tokamak discharge experiments and provide continuous and high sampling rate diagnosis data for researchers’ analysis, it is necessary to construct a stable and continuous long-time data acquisition system. A continuous data acquisition system based on PCI is presented in this paper. The system uses PCI DAQ2010 card made by AD Link corp., and implements the continuous data acquisition by way of double buffer sample mode. To reduce the data storage space, the LZO compression algorithm of lossless and real-time features is used in this system. The system also adopts the method of data encapsulation with additional head information to accomplish the data upload to the data server machine using TCP/IP socket protocol. With the Tokamak experiments, the system is proved to be stable and qualified.
