One fault diagnosis system of power information collection terminal is designed for the huge workload of the current terminal device of the energy metering automation systems of Guangdong Power Grid Corporation, the operation and maintenance personnel shortages, failure and fault conditions of the terminal and more diverse and complex diagnostic procedures, including Main control system diagnosis and diagnostic subsystems. Intelligent expert system, completion ports and the ACE framework programming development are used in the system. The system has the quick, on-line, automatic fault diagnosis of terminal functions, ensuring a terminal fault is resolved promptly and effectively to improve the diagnosis of terminal efficiency, reduce the maintenance workload of the terminal site.
