287 Reduced Complexity Decoding Algorithms for Nonbinary Repeat Accumulate Code

Cumulative multi-code repeats BP decoding algorithm which is close to shannon limit superior performance, but with high complexity. To reduce complexity, we propose minimum algorithm and maximum-minimum algorithm. Minimum algorithm is simple, easy to implement, but led to a more substantial reduction in decoding performance. Meanwhile, maximum - minimum cycle decoding algorithm is a good compromise between complexity and performance. Simulation results show that the complexity of the maximum - the minimum algorithm is closer with BP algorithm in the case of the same performance.
